Kingdom Citizenship Teachers: Bob Jones & Kevin Smith For too long, too many followers of Christ have lived beneath their Kingdom inheritance. Deep Dive: Philippians & Colossians Teachers: Ava Middlebrooks & Vanessa "Bug" Shotts This quarter’s deep dive will feature Paul’s letters to the Philippians and Colossians, which are both rich in encouragement and wisdom, offering timeless insights for walking with Christ. Philippians overflows with themes of joy, gratitude, and unity and encourages believers to live with humility and stand firm in their faith even when facing challenges. Colossians focuses on the supremacy and sufficiency of Christ and our new identity in Him.
Rediscovering Israel Teacher: Trista Cooper You know those stories in the Bible that just don’t seem to make much sense? This class will explore those biblical stories in the historical, cultural, geographic, and linguistic contexts in which they were written. We’ll review the Bible as one cohesive storyline rather than a book of stand-alone accounts, celebrating the richness of Scripture while discovering unique cultural idioms and customs of the ancient Jewish world..
